Laluzapalooza Group Show Returns to La Luz De Jesus Gallery

The massive group show Laluzapalooza has returned at La Luz De Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles. With more than 160 works from more than 60 artists, this show says it offers "the most exclusive selection of tastefully, jam-packed, salon-style exhibited works in Post-Pop." Jorge Dos Diablos, Dave Lebow, D.W. Marino, VegA, and Win Wallace are among the names in the line-up.

“This gigantic, no-theme show features works from some of the freshest and most relevant artists working today,” the gallery says, in a statement. “Again we sorted through tens of thousands of submissions from commercial illustrators, graphic designers, tattooists, scenics, students, street taggers, animators and working gallery artists.”

Arch Enemy Arts Group Show Celebrates Collage

A group show running at Arch Enemy Arts highlights artists either inspired by or directly working in collage. Running until Aug. 25, "Mélange" brings a diverse array of creators to the Philadelphia space. The show features Alex Eckman-Lawn, Angela Rio, David Krovblit, Dewey Saunders, Eduardo Recife, Jake Messing, John Vochatzer, Moon_Patrol, Pierre Schmidt, Vahge, and Visual Stones.

‘Modern Muse’ to Open at Rehs Contemporary Galleries

Dilla The muse was a well-known component in the work of Picasso, Dali, and Kahlo. A new show at Rehs Contemporary Galleries shows how this tradition continues in the work of Linda Adair, David Bowers, Randalf Dilla, Amanda Greive, Hiroshi Furuyoshi, Ira Reines, and Michael Van Zeyl, even in unexpected ways. Bowers, for instance, cites his wife as integral to his work, while combining components of her with influences from historical masterworks. The show runs Oct. 27-Nov. 16.

More Than 70 Artists Featured in 2019 Laluzapalooza Group Show

Laluzapalooza, the annual group show from La Luz De Jesus Gallery, returns in March with more than 70 artists featured. As in previous years, Laluzapalooza 33 has no stated theme, and submissions come from artists working a variety of fields. The gallery says visitors can see taent ranging from “ever-growing roster of feature artists, alongside a promising batch of previously undiscovered, emerging talent.”
